iPhoneアプリ「Gmail」にて、既読メールの新着通知が止まらないときの対処法

この数日間「Gmail」iPhoneアプリからの、新着お知らせが止まりません。
それも新しいメールが来ているわけでは無く、既読メールに対する新着通知なのです。

しかし他のiOSやAndroid端末ではその現象は起きていません。
よって、端末側で何か問題が起きているようだという事だけは分かります。

そんな、「Gmail」アプリの新着メールのお知らせが
際限なく続く現象が起きたときの止め方を紹介します。

まず行ったこと

該当メールを既読にする
数分後に新着通知のお知らせが届きました
該当メールをアーカイブする
数分後に新着通知のお知らせが届きました
該当メールを削除する
数分後に新着通知のお知らせが届きました

残念ながら、状況は何も変わりません。

I'm not sure when this started, but it could have possible been since updated to iOS 6.
Gmail is pushing multiple/duplicate notifications to my phone constantly for email messages - even after they've been read and deleted. This is very frustrating as my phone is constantly buzzing and it's eating up my battery and data. I'm not happy about this and would like a resolution as soon as possible.

I got the same problem and yes it's irritating.
The work around I found that works is to uninstall the iOS gmail app and then reinstall it and the issue goes away... for a while.

何度かこの症状が起きていまして、約1日ほど放置すれば治ることもあります。
しかしいくら待てどもせわしく鳴り続ける場合、最終手段という事で、
Googleのフォーラムに記載されている、Gmailアプリの再インストールを試みます。

これはアンインストール時に設定ファイル含めて
手元のキャッシュデータをすべて消すiOSの挙動を期待した物です。

結果、これまで通りの動きとなりました！
もちろん、メールや下書き、フィルタ設定などは
すべてGoogle側にあるので、アプリを一旦消しても、再度入れれば復活します。
